দুই মামলাআত্মপক্ষ সমর্থনে আরো সময় পেলেন খালেদা জিয়া ০৫ জানুয়ারি ২০১৭, ১৪:২৩ | আপডেট: ০৫ জানুয়ারি ২০১৭, ১৫:১২ জিয়া চ্যারিটেবল ট্রাস্ট ও জিয়া অরফানেজ ট্রাস্ট দ ুর্নীতি মামলায় বিএনপির চেয়ারপারসন খালেদা জিয়ার আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থনে ১২ জানুয়ারি পরবর্তী দিন ধার্য করেছেন আদালত। একই সঙ্গে অরফানেজ ট্রাস্ট মামলার প্রথম তদন্ত কর্মকর্তা নূর আহমেদকে জেরা করতে খালেদা জিয়ার করা আবেদন মঞ্জুর করা হয়েছে। আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থনে খালেদা জিয়ার আইনজীবীদের সময় বাড়ানোর আবেদনের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে আদালত এই দিন ধার্য করেন। জিয়া চ্যারিটেবল ট্রাস্ট দুর্নীতি মামলায় খালেদা জিয়ার পক্ষে ব্যারিস্টার জমিরউদ্দিন সরকার, আবদুর রেজাক খান, জয়নুল আবদিন, মাহবুবউদ্দিন খোকন ও এ জে মোহাম্মদ আলী শুনানিতে অংশ নেন। অন্যদিকে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশনের (দুদক) পক্ষে মোশারফ হোসেন কাজল শুনানি করেন। শুনানির শুরুতে খালেদা জিয়ার আইনজীবীরা আদালতকে জানান, যেহেতু আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থনের বিষয়ে একটি আবেদন হাইকোর্টে বিচারাধীন রয়েছে, তাই এ মুহূর্তে এই মামলার শুনানি করা যুক্তিযুক্ত হবে না। উচ্চ আদালতের সিদ্ধান্তের পর খালেদা জিয়া আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থনের বিষয়ে বক্...
